With the dawn of the new year, we resumed the sixth annual EDH Battle Royale! Spells have been furiously cast, battlefields destroyed, many creatures and monsters clashed, and we have at least one upset win thus far.
We have three brackets with four decks each, vying for a shot at our reigning champ from last year. Who will emerge triumphant from each bracket?
It’s time for our first three matches in The EDH Battle Royale VI!
One thing I am known for in my playgroup is the ability to create interesting formats for strange tournaments, and it’s been a long time since I’ve done so. The last interesting format we did was The Gold Standard Challenge, quite some time ago, and so it’s high time we did another cool tourney again.
This time, our format is going to be called The Ultimate Graveyard Block. And what a format it will be! Let’s take a look!
I’ve always liked drafting, and so the idea of a MtG Cube (a controlled Limited environment where you get to draft from a pool of powerful cards each time) is something that has always appealed to me.
I have built and disassembled two Cubes of my own, and now, I’m looking to assemble a new one. This is the story of my thought process around building this Cube.
Let’s take a look!
From all of us here at MTGeezer, here’s hoping you all had a safe and happy holiday season, and welcome to the new year!
We will return to our regularly scheduled programming shortly.
