Casual Xmas deck: Budget Mayael the Anima EDH

Back in this article, I had gone over my plans to send my little brother Joel some casual MtG decks for Christmas, since he’d recently gotten back into casual Magic. I had initially brainstormed a Soldier deck (which I describe here), and a W/B Spirits deck (which I go into here). I had just started putting these decks together for him, getting ready to ship them off, when he dropped a bombshell on me.

 

“So, I play this format called Commander now!”

The EDH Battle Royale – The Third Quarterfinal Match

Hello and welcome once again to The EDH Battle Royale! We are in the process of battling through the quarterfinals, with our last match being won by the evil Maga, Traitor to Mortals, who had brutally overpowered his opponents with the power of darkness to move on to face Saffi Eriksdotter and her W/G midrange aggro deck in the finals.

 

Today, we will be going over the third quarterfinal match to see who would move on to the finals to join Maga and Saffi, and our match today should be an exciting one:

We started the tournament with 36 EDH decks, and through some grueling three-player games, the field has been narrowed down to 12 grizzled and battle-tested veterans.
